What a great pair this is of food and wine. 2012 Underwood, Pinot Noir, Oregon Grown paired with chocolate chip cookie. I find the fruit forward wine such as this has enough fruit sweetness to balance the cookie and yet just enough acid to cleansed the palate. I baked the chocolate chip and added a little amount of salt. Make sure this hint of salt is added in order to balance with the Pinot Noir from Oregon.
